Is it possible to use heated tubing with the ResMed AirMini if I have the right adapter?Updated 15 days ago

The ResMed AirMini does not support heated tubing, even with an adapter.

Why:

    •    The AirMini was designed to be ultra-compact and portable, so it uses a proprietary slim tubing system that doesn’t include the wiring needed for heated hoses.

    •    There’s currently no adapter or connector that makes it compatible with standard heated tubing like the ones used with the AirSense 10 or 11.

Alternatives:

    •    To minimize dryness, the AirMini uses a HumidX or HumidX Plus waterless humidification system (placed inside the special AirMini tube near the mask).

    •    If you need more humidity control or heated tubing, you’d need to switch to a larger machine like the ResMed AirSense 11 or similar.
